One of my favorite Sunday breakfast is pancakes with lots of fruits and yummy strawberry syrup. Its a great treat for the whole family.
Ingredients:
Pancake Batter
Pancake mix(I have used Aunt Jemima Original Pancake Mix): 2 cups
Milk:1 1/2 cup
Large egg: 1
Oil: 1 tsp
Strawberry Syrup:
Fresh Strawberry chopped:1 cup
Water: 1 tbsp
Granulated sugar:1/2 cup
Instructions:
1.In a medium bowl mix all the ingredients for the pancakes. I normally add milk gradually according to the batter consistency. Set it for 5 minutes.
2. Heat saucepan on medium heat. Sprinkle some drops of oil on it to make a golden pancake. Pour the batter according to the size you want. Cover the saucepan for a while till the pancake is fully cooked and flip it when you see holes in it.
3.For the syrup heat a small saucepan on a low heat and add all the ingredients for the syrup. Stir to make it smooth. The syrup is done when its color is red and small bubbles start to appear. I like it with the pulp but if you want fine syrup you can strain it.
4 Place the pancakes on a serving plate and decorate with blueberries and strawberries. Enjoy!
