Peach Upside-Down Cake

The summer fruit that everyone loves is peaches! Today I bought some fresh ripe peaches that tempted me to make this delicious
dessert.

Peach Upside-Down Cake

INGREDIENTS:
– All purpose flour: 1-1/2 cup
– Brown sugar:2 tsp
– Cinnamon:2 tsp
– Sugar:1 cup
– Large egg: 2
– Butter: 1/2 cup
– Baking Powder:1 tsp
– Baking Soda:1/2 tsp
– Vanilla Essence: 2 tsp
– Sliced fresh peach: 2 cup
– Milk : 1/2 cup

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C).
    Construct a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it in a greased (I used parchment paper) round 9 inch cake pan.
    Spread out the sliced peaches accordingly.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar in an electric mixer for about 5 minutes. Mix the baking powder, the baking soda and the all purpose flour all together and sift.
    Set aside in a bowl. Add in vanilla extract, eggs and the dry ingredients to the mixture and finally add milk to the batter gradually to create a smooth batter.
    Mix for another 10 minitues.
  3. Transfer the batter to the cake pan and cook for about 30 minutes in the oven.
  4. Bake until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean .
  5. Leave the cake to cool on a rack and serve warm and enjoy!
