
The summer fruit that everyone loves is peaches! Today I bought some fresh ripe peaches that tempted me to make this delicious
dessert.
Peach Upside-Down Cake

INGREDIENTS:
– All purpose flour: 1-1/2 cup
– Brown sugar:2 tsp
– Cinnamon:2 tsp
– Sugar:1 cup
– Large egg: 2
– Butter: 1/2 cup
– Baking Powder:1 tsp
– Baking Soda:1/2 tsp
– Vanilla Essence: 2 tsp
– Sliced fresh peach: 2 cup
– Milk : 1/2 cup
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C).
Construct a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it in a greased (I used parchment paper) round 9 inch cake pan.
Spread out the sliced peaches accordingly. - Cream together the butter and sugar in an electric mixer for about 5 minutes. Mix the baking powder, the baking soda and the all purpose flour all together and sift.
Set aside in a bowl. Add in vanilla extract, eggs and the dry ingredients to the mixture and finally add milk to the batter gradually to create a smooth batter.
Mix for another 10 minitues. - Transfer the batter to the cake pan and cook for about 30 minutes in the oven.
- Bake until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean .
- Leave the cake to cool on a rack and serve warm and enjoy!
