Authentic Italian Bruschetta

One of the best appetizers that is quite popular in Italian cuisine is Bruschetta, which is all about baguette, garlic and olive oil.

Italian Bruschetta

Cooking time:15 minutes

Ready in:20 minutes 

INGREDIENTS:

Whole Baguette:1 

Olive oil:2 tbs

Garlic chopped:6 cloves

Large Tomatoes chopped:2

Balsamic Vinegar:1 tsp

Fresh Basil leaves:5 to 10 

Canned olive:1/4 cup

Salt: to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.On a small saucepan heat one tbsp of olive oil, chopped garlic and stir fry for about one minute till light golden. Place the mixture in a separate bowl.

2. Cut the baguette diagonally and brush them with garlic olive oil mixture on both sides. Place it on a baking sheet pan and bake for about 5 minutes till golden brown.

3. Combine tomato, balsamic vinegar, chopped basil leaves, salt into the garlic-olive oil mixture. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

   On a serving plate, place the mixture on the baguette and enjoy!
