Apple Cinnamon upside down cake

Beautiful aroma of cinnamon and apple is quite tempting! Today I am making this apple upside down cake.
It tastes so good that it vanishes within minutes and my family love this dessert.

Apple Upside Down Cake

INGREDIENTS:
All purpose flour: 1-1/2 cup
Brown sugar:2 tsp
Cinnamon:2 tsp
Sugar:1 cup
Large egg: 2
Butter: 1/2 cup
Baking Powder:1 tsp
Baking Soda:1/2 tsp
Vanilla Essence: 2 tsp
Sliced fresh apple: 2 cup
Milk : 1/2 cup

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C).
    Construct a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle it in a greased (I used parchment paper) round 9 inch cake pan.
    Spread out the sliced apples accordingly.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar in an electric mixer for about 5 minutes. Mix the baking powder, the baking soda and the all purpose flour all together and sift.
    Set aside in a bowl. Add in vanilla extract, eggs and the dry ingredients to the mixture and finally add milk to the batter gradually to create a smooth batter.
    Mix for another 10 minitues.

4.Transfer the batter to the cake pan and cook for about 30 minutes in the oven.

  1. Bake until the toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean .

6.Let it cool on a rack ,serve warm and enjoy!
