Orange Loaf Cake

The flavor of orange is always tempting. I love oranges and today I am making this loaf cake which is loaded with orange juice and orange zest gives a beautiful aroma even while baking.

INGREDIENT:

All-purpose flour: 1 1/2 cup
Baking powder/Soda: 1/2 tsp each
Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
Orange essence: 1 tsp
Unsalted Butter: 3/4 cup
Large egg: 2
Orange juice: 1/2 cup
Orange zest: 1/2 tsp
Whole milk:1/2 cup

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
    Mix all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder/Soda all together in a medium bowl.
  2. In a large bowl mix butter and sugar for about 5 minutes. Add eggs, orange essence, and flour to the mixture and again mix for 2 minutes, in three batches so that it won’t stick to the electric mixer blades. Finally, add orange juice and zest to the mixture.
  3. Grease the baking pan, place the dough and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes till its golden yellow. Insert a skewer inside to make sure it is perfectly cooked. when the skewer comes out clean, it is done. Enjoy!
