Today I am making this Italian Biscotti which is my favorite snacks with coffee. It’s so tasty and crunchy at the same time and I love the beautiful aroma of anise seeds.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time:20 minutes
Total time:35 minutes
Serving size:19 to 20
Ingredients:
All-purpose flour: 2 cups
Baking powder: 1 1/2 tsp
Granulated sugar:3/4 cup
Unsalted butter:1/2 cup
vanilla extract:2 tsp
Large egg: 1
Anise seed: 1 tsp
Instructions:
Preheat the over to 350 Degree F.
In a medium bowl mix sugar and butter for about 5 minutes using an electric mixer with the dough hook attached.
Add the egg, Vanilla essence to the mixture and mix for about 2 minutes.
And finally, add all-purpose flour and baking powder mixture to the wet mix and mix for about 5 minutes.
Grease the cookie sheet and place the dough on a rectangle shape about half-inch thick around. Place it in the oven
and bake for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cut the dough into half-inch thick and place the slice flat to get it properly cooked on both sides till golden yellow. Enjoy your Biscotti!
