
Cookies are a must-have in every household and one of the favorite snacks to have. Today I am making butter cookies filled with jam which tastes so good and the house is filled with a beautiful smell of these cookies.

INGREDIENTS:
All-purpose flour: 1cup
Granulated sugar: 3/4 cup
Orange Essence: 1 tsp
Unsalted butter: 1/2 cup
Apricot/raspberry jam: 4 tsp each
Whole milk: 2 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a medium bowl mix melted butter and sugar for about 5 minutes. I have added Orange essence because I like the fresh aroma of orange but you can add any essence you like.
- Add all-purpose flour gradually by adding the milk one spoon at a time till the dough is soft enough to make a ball. Make around 10/12 balls and press in the middle to make room for jam. Pour your favorite jam with the help of a spoon. Place all the balls in a greased cookie sheet and refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven for 375 Degree F. Place the balls and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes till golden yellow. Remove the cookies from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes and Enjoy!
mmm. . . the cookies look wonderful. These Jam-filled Cookies remind of similar cookies my family made when I was a child.
